WELCOME TO BEAT THE BULLY SITE
Whether you have just come across this site through the book 'Beat The Bully: A Guide to Dealing With Adult Bullying' or happened to simply Google it, than welcome. It is a shame that in modern 21st century society, bullying is still a problem facing various organisations, be it workplace, (the office, site, etc) as well as social and even charitable organisations as well! While many organisations fortunately do stand up to this problem by having procedures in place, many unfortunately would rather deny that the problem exists. Worse still, some organisations which happen to have a bully amongst its top ranks can even encourage this behaviour, as it is seen as strength.
While there is plenty of support and advice out there for people who are the targets of bullies, most of the support and advice however is aimed for children and their parents, how to deal with a bully in the classroom or in the playground. Now whilst it is true that many of those school bullies cease becoming bullies when they grow up, this unfortunately isn’t the case for all the bullies, who enter adulthood as bullies. For these people, the only thing that has really changed is their method and style of bullying, having learnt that to adapt to the outside world, they have to change their tact.
As an adult, if you are at all being bullied in your workplace or outside social group (even the home) than this book and site will be a must in protecting yourself psychologically, as well as learning how to beat the bully head on. As in the accompanying book, learn;
· Work out if you are being bullied or not
· The different types of bullies
· Some of the prevalent myths about bullying
· How to stop the psychological damage that bullying has on you
If you haven’t as yet purchased this book, than I would highly recommend that you do so for even if you believe you’d not being targeted by a bully, it is surprising how mistaken people are for many bullies operate in stealth like manner, operating below your social radar!
